The sixth Vicul Salon was Held Successfully

In the Sep. 10th of 2014, the sixth vicul salon was held at the peony in Stochholm, Dr. Dai from the Institute of Security and Development Policy (ISDP) presenting his research results of China's Westward and Southward Development Strategy Background and Implications for Nordic Area. Ten more famous people include reporter from People's Daily, Chinese Parliamentary candidates of Stockholm, scholars and students, In-depth discussions and freely communication was throughout the entire salon. 

Vicul Salon is hosted for Sweden-China cultural exchange by the Nordic Chinese Culture Association (www.ncca.se) and named by VICUL Culture Exchange AB (www.vicul.com). Vicul Salon provieds a platform of sharing culture, sharing wisdom and experiences to promote multi-level cultural exchanges and mutual development, focused on the multi-cultural communication using expert lectures and free talking.

The Vicul Salon Sixth was supported by the Nordic Chinese Time and Peony.

This Vicul Salon, Dr. Dai will elaborate on China's initiatives of Silk Road Belt and Silk Road on the Sea of 21st century and analyze the implications for the Scandinavia area, including cultural exchange and economic development.

Dai Yonghong, PhD of Economics, is currently a professor of International Relations and World Economy at Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS), and Director of Center for Myanmar Studies in the Sichuan University. Currently, Prof. Dai is working at Institute of Security and Development Policy (ISDP) in Stockholm, which is a think tank, as a guest researcher focusing on competing and cooperation games of great powers in Myanmar and China's Response.
